David coaches senior executives and rising leaders to navigate high-stakes change, crisis, and growth. A Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, his practice is backed by over 35 years of elite leadership experience spanning global corporations, boardrooms, and the military.
David’s executive track record includes serving as an Independent Director on the board of Embecta Corp. (NASDAQ: EMBC), President of General Motors Defense, and Chief Communications Officer at Exelis. He has also held Vice President of Communications roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), ITT Defense, and United Way of America. Today, he leverages this scale of experience to advise leaders across technology, aerospace, automotive, financial services and other sectors.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and former U.S. Navy officer, David holds an MS in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School. He completed executive leadership programs at Harvard and Stanford, earned his Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, and is a certified assessor of the Hogan and DISC assessments.
Based in the Washington, D.C. area, David is a global traveler who has visited over 50 countries, and spends his downtime off-roading, bass fishing, and RVing with his family.
