Lisa Colella
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Lisa partners with senior leaders and their teams to prepare for the high-stakes communication moments that shape consequential outcomes. These are the moments where financial, reputational, and relational stakes are significant and measurable. Common scenarios include leading through change, optimizing terms of an M&A transaction, securing investment, navigating a leadership or team transition, or building the kind of trust and followership that defines a leader’s long-term impact.
With more than 20 years of experience across agency, consultancy, and in-house settings, Lisa has advised leadership teams navigating some of the most consequential conversations of their careers. Her recent work includes coaching executive teams through sell-side M&A processes, buy-side integrations, and preparing investment leaders for fundraising rounds. In these engagements, how a team shows up in the room, and how their story is told before they get there, has a direct line to both the financial outcome and the relationships that outlast the transaction. Her broader client portfolio spans financial services, healthcare, high tech, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences, among others.
Lisa brings a practitioner’s perspective to her work, shaped by previous roles as Founder and CEO of a boutique consultancy and Global Head of Talent Communications and Marketing for Philips. As a Managing Director within our Strategic Communications practice, she combines her lived experiences with the firm’s four decades of research and advisory relationships with over 25 Fortune 100 companies to inform the counsel she brings to every coaching or consulting engagement.
Lisa holds a BS in Communications and Business Marketing from the University of Miami and completed Harvard Business Review’s Breakthrough Leadership program in 2013. She is based in Massachusetts, where she coaches basketball and youth leadership at the Inly School, and spends much of her time outside work with her husband and two daughters.
