Dean leads the ongoing evolution of Admired Leadership Digital® and ALEX by Admired Leadership®, which he co-created. He scales the firm’s leadership expertise into digital experiences and AI-powered tools that deepen behavior change for leaders and teams.
Dean previously led Yelp’s Core LLM team, where he was an early advocate for generative large language models. His team built an internal counterpart to ChatGPT and supported Yelp’s adoption of generative AI in both its internal workflows and its products. A serial entrepreneur, Dean also founded and served as CTO of multiple technology startups which were later acquired by IBM, LinkedIn, Yelp, and others.
Dean lives in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Lauren, their dog, their horse, and their horse’s two best horse friends. He enjoys programming, hiking, and taking care of horses.
