David Clavier, PhD, APR

ASSOCIATE

David Clavier specializes in public relations, crisis communication, organizational communication, and project management design and counsel. He works with senior management and communication teams.

Before joining CRA | Admired Leadership, Dr. Clavier spent the past few decades assisting a variety of profit and not-for-profit organizations in positioning themselves with internal and external stakeholders. Over the years, he has worked with senior leaders of firms including ATP Tour, AT&T, American Transtech, Bellsouth, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida, Decision Strategies Group, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Gator Bowl Association, Gate Petroleum Company, JM Family Enterprises, Kemper Insurance Company, Michigan Consolidated Gas Company, Midway Airlines, Oakwood Healthcare System, PGA Tour, Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute, Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Southeast Toyota Distributors, and Tupperware Japan.

At Florida State University, the University of Georgia, and Auburn University, Dr. Clavier taught business and communication courses. He has published articles on the practice of public relations, research, and quality in numerous professional journals and is co-author of a book chapter in the Communicator’s Guide to Marketing. He is the former editor of The Florida Architect magazine. Dr. Clavier is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and a member of the Counselors Academy.

He currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife and daughter. He enjoys golf, fishing, and traveling.
